Jag kan tänka mig att ni kanske undrar hur det går med hemlängtan. Dom som känner mig vet att jag är en väldigt hemmalär person som gillar att umgås med familjen och bara vara hemma. Men trots det har det faktsikt gått superbra. Jag har väl haft så mycket att tänka på så det har flytt på jättebra. Den värsta perioden hitills va väl precis när vi hade kommit till australien och allting va nytt och man kände sig lite lost. Sen när man möter motgånger kan man få lite hemlängtan också. Men det går jättebra tycker jag :) Jag försöker bara njuta av tiden så mycket som möjligt fr jag vet att jag kommer sakna det sen när jag är hemma!

Men jag vet att när jag kommer hem sen till sommaren så kommer jag uppskatta att vara hemma såå mycket mer! Det kommer kännas så konstigt att ha ett rum till sig själv igen när vi är vana nu vid att dela rum med andra på hostel, dela kök, dela toa och dusch. att komma hem sen till ett eget rum och privatliv kommer vara fantastiskt. Jag kan faktiskt inte fatta att jag har anpassat mig så bra som jag har gjort nu. För det går ju jättebra att leva såhär.. va lyxigt man har det hemma egentligen ;)

jaja nu ska jag sluta babbla.. jag ville bara göra ett inlägg till alla där hemma. Alla i familjen, alla kusiner och släktingar och alla kompisar! Jag saknar er och vi kommer ha såå kul i sommar när jag kommer hem :) Puss på er alla :)

Imorgon ska jag skypa med madde och gabbi och det ska bli såå roligt!! Skype är nog den bästa uppfinningen någonsin! :P

Today I did something that I have wanted to do for soo long!! We went skydiving, we have been thinking about booking it for a couple of weeks because they had a special offer on. The weather was cloudy this morning so we werent sure if we were going to be able to jump. We were supposed to leave sydney at 11am but the jump was put on weather hold... we waited for an hour and still it was on weather hold... We gave up after 2 hours of waiting and rebooked it for monday. We were pretty bumbed and went to chinatown to buy some food.

Suddenly my phone rings and its sydney skydivers saying that the jump is back on!!! WOW... we ran back to the center and jumped on the bus. 1 hour later we were at the drop zone ready to be kitted up and thrown out of an airplane.

As we started to get higher in the airplane I was starting to get more nervous.... The guy tells me that we are half way up and im like: whaaaat?? but we are already soo high!!! We go even higher and through the clouds... suddenly a red light starts flashing which means that its time to get ready. Before I know it the door is open and people are dissapearing from the plane. This is where I literally had to tell myself to breath. One second im dangling with my legs out of the airplane 4,2km up in the sky, and the next im falling through the air. The feeling is undescribable... I wanted to throw up but at the same time the adrenaline was pumping through my body and it was sooo fun... I could see clouds getting closer and closer, and the wind was soo strong. I plumet into a cloud and everything is white around me, and thats when the parachute appeared above me and we stopped free falling. How can 60 seconds go so fast?? Haha.. the next few minutes were amazing, just soaring trhough teh sky :)


Its pretty hard to explain the feeling but it was great and im so glad we did it,

Hello hello :)

Just nu sitter jag i sängen och lyssnar på sydney radio. Imorse sov vi ut och det va jätte skönt, sen slappade vi lite vid poolen och tog även en tur ner till stranden. Sen jobbade jag från 2.30 till 9.30 (late night shopping på shopping centret) och nu är jag hemma igen. Imorgon ska vi göra något väldigt spännande men jag berättar mer om det imorgon ;) Här är några bilder från imorse:

Today I had the day off work so we had a lie-in.. soooo good!! Then we borrowed bikes at the hostel and cycled to narrabean´which is just north of collaroy. It was lovely :) Now we are off to the cinema because on tuesdays its extra cheap!

Hejsan!

Jag vill bara kika in och be om ursäkt för dålig uppdatering. Det är helt enkelt så att vi har mycket som händer nu och då kommer inte bloggen i första hand. Om några dagar borde det vara lite bättre uppdatering :) Vi ska kaaanske göra någonting väldigt spännande denna veckan, så det kommer komma roliga inlägg :)

The last few days we have been staying with an irish couple in our room. Its been so much fun, me and tom have been learning lots of irish words and we are practically irish now ;) We have taught eachother drinking games, tom tried to teach Ian to surf and generally just having a good time.

They are going to cairns tomorrow but hopefully we will meet up on our travels again.

Tom kom iväg idag! Igår fick han tag i en familj som kunde ta emot honom med en gång, så idag traskade han iväg och tog bussen in till sydney för att åka vidare därifrån upp och in till skogen (outback) Det skulle ta ca 4 timmar så han är nog framme om en timme.

Många av er måste undra varför vi delar på oss, men det är helt enkelt så att eftersom tom inte har hittat något jobb och han så gärna vill göra detta så är det klart att han ska göra det. Vi måste få ut så mycket som möjligt av den här resan och om det betyder at vi är ifrån varan lite så får det vara så då. Eftersom jag har hittat jobb så vill inte jag flytta härifrån, jag får ändå såpass många tider just nu så jag vill passa på och jobba så mycket som möjligt. Jag fick reda på att cafet har stängt nästa vecka fär att dom ska göra om, så då har jag ju en vecka utan jobb så jag kanske åker upp och hälsar på tom eller något. Det löser sig :)

Så nu sitter jag här och lite ensamt känns det allt. Jag känner ju många här på hostelet så är ju knappast ensam egentligen men jag och tom har gjort allt tsm nu i 2 månader så sjlvklart är det lite ovant när vi helt plöstligt inte är med varan längre. Men som sagt så är det nog bra för oss också :) Det skadar aldrig att sakna varan lite ;)

Vi gick upp imorse innan han skulle åka och gjorde pannkakor innan han skulle ge sig iväg, mumss!!! en påse coles pankaks mix kostar 80 cent (5 kr) så det är bara att köra på o stekaa!! haha

Last friday we went into sydney to go to a moonlight market. It was great fun and very cosy. I love being in big cities at night, all of the lights, people and just the energy from the city.. love it!!

Havent written anything in a few days, and the reason why is that I have been soo busy! I have been working everyday now for 5 days! and tomorrow Im working again :S oh man... I know I shouldnt complain but im just so tired and I really need a day off.. on tuesday Ill have time to relax :)

Another thing that I havent written about is Toms plans. He is planning to go away to a farm for a few weeks and work there for accomadation and food. He has been thinking about it for a while and as he hasnt found a job here he might aswell. I just want him to do something he enjoys :) Tom is more of a farmer than I am so i think he should just go for it! He was supposed to be going yesterday but it was soo hot (47 degrees) that he couldnt go. Hopefully he will be off this week :)

Yesterday it literally felt like a sauna outside! It was soo bad, for the first time since I got here I actually felt like complaining about the heat. I was sweating so much when I was sitting eating breakfast. Today though there was been some cold winds so thats nice.

Hmm I dont really have anything else exciting to say... life goes on and we are enjoying every single day down here :)
We have meet a very nice irish couple who we are sharing our room with :) Have learnt a few funny irish words and phrases :P hehe'

As you know our plans are to work for as long as possible and then travel around for a bit. We were casually checking out flights the other day and they were actually pretty cheap so we thought, why not book them now?

We have been debating over what to see in Australia bcos lets face it, there is waaaay too much to see :P We have been set on Cairns for a long time to get the barrier reef, and thats the only place that we have really been equally decided about. We did discuss Melbourne, kangaroo island, byron bay, ayers rock... etc.

Anyway this is our final verdict and this is what we will be doing in April:

On 9th April we will be flying from Sydney to Carins, we will stay there for 10 days and during those 10 days we are going to do a 5 day dive course on the barrier reef. After that we will be certified divers! So exciting!!!

On the 19th April we will leave Cairns and fly over to the kiwis in Queenstown! New zealand is supposed to so beautiful and there is also loads of fun stuff to do there including bungee jump for tom :P Ill just watch and look at the nice view.

We will stay in New zealand for 1 week maybe and then we will travel back to sydney before leaving on the 30th for thailand.


Wow I cant believe we have booked such an adventure! I really cant wait, but at the same time I have to make the most of everyday now. Even though I working now (which isnt that fun), Im still living in paradise and time will just fly by!! I must say that I don't think I will ever regret saving up money for this! It was worth every penny and every minute of hard work back in sweden. What could be worth more than travelling the world, meeting new people and having new experiences? And when all this is over I will go back home to my family and that will be great to. I will appreciate being home so much more when iVe been away on a trip like this.

My advice is that if your thinking about doing something like this, then just do it!!! Before its too late :)

The other day me and Tom had dinner by the beach in Manly. I was telling mum about our feeble diet at the moment with noodles etc and she said that she could give us a dinner out as a pressie. It really was lovely and the food was great. So a big thank yoou mummmy!!! :D

A great day a palm beach - Apart from me getting rather burnt on my bottom, haha :P

Today it was CRAZY hot!!! We took the bus up north to palm beach. Palm beach is famous for being the setting of the series home and away. This beach was opposite to bondi in the sense that it was completley empty. We basically had a whole lovely beach to ourselves. I got abit burnt today which sucks, so far ive managed pretty well not to get burnt but today it was just too sunny.

We had a great day out :) Now i work for 5 days in a row so Im glad we have made the most of my free days.¨

Yesterday we decided to visit the famous Bondi beach. It took a while to get there but it was very pretty. The water was very clear and the sand white and powdery. The only negative thing would be that it was very busy, but  I didnt really find that annoying. After a dip in the sea and some sun bathing we strolled around for a bit and then took the bus home. Today we visited Palm beach but I will tell you more about that in a bit :P
